Luc (Aged 7)
I’ve been saving. I’ve been saving really hard for weeks and weeks and weeks for my dinosaur army – cough – I mean family. And Daddy says I’m so close to having enough pocket money.
But there is a problem.
A big noisy, all guns blazing, shooting, driving, men included, giant tank toy that I really really want. It is so amazing!
And I know I have enough money for the tank. I could buy the tank today. I could battle with the tank today.
But I really want to build my dinosaur army too. What should I do?
I’ll get the tank. Yes definitely get the tank!
“That’s all your pocket money gone. You’ll have to start saving again.” Daddy reminds me.
I know. I know.
But I really love this tank. It can join my dinosaur army once I have one.
And what is the point of going into a toy shop if you are not going to buy anything?
