Family Center Parcs Holidays: The Wild Canyon Ride
Tomos (10 years old)
Here I go. I’m finally at the front of the queue for the big wild canyon water slide. I’ve been waiting for ages and ages to be old enough to go on it. I was tall enough a while ago but Mum said no.
And no. And then no again. And again and again.
Suddenly this year she said yes. As long as Dad came down after me, especially the first time. Just to make sure.
Now it’s finally my turn. The light turns green and off I go.
That. Was. Awesome.
I run (well walk very very quickly because its still a swimming pool) back to Mum and Luc.
Luc runs over excitedly. “How was it?” He asks.
“It was so fast. Like really fast. I think the fastest slide here. I think you would really like it.” I tell him. “Let’s ask Dad. He’s good at persuading Mum.”
“Dad!” We both yell!
