What Happened to the Next Wobbly Tooth...

Luc (Aged 7)

Okay, so that sneaky tooth fairy may have won round one. But not this time. This time I will win. I will conquer. I will be victorious in the battle of the teeth!

I’m currently brushing my teeth – taking special care around my one wobbly tooth. Keeping it as pristine as possible for my collection. It’s very wobbly so it might fall out tonight.

I don’t have any teeth in my collection yet because only one of my baby teeth has fallen out. It fell out in the middle of the night and that sneaky tooth thief came and stole it before I had even woken up. Rude. Just so rude.

Argh! My tooth!

It’s fallen onto the floor. Quick. Get it before the tooth thief fairy comes.

There it is.

“Urgh! Gross! Mummy, it’s got blood on it!” And now I’ve dropped it again.

I pick it up carefully this time and Mummy gives it a quick wash. I hold it carefully in my hand, inspecting every inch of it. It is perfect. My first perfect tooth for my collection.

I very carefully put it my jar. I get Daddy to close the lid very very tightly. I put my jar next to my dinosaur teddy – the scariest soft toy that I have. He will protect it from the tooth thief fairy (and Tomos, just in case he gets any ideas).

She may have won the first battle. But I will win the war!
